Logistics directory & tracking number checks

Search airline and shipping-line directories, validate an AWB or ISO 6346 container number, then continue to the transport company’s website.

No live shipment API, transport status or ETA is provided here. A passing check only confirms number structure and check digit, not shipment existence or departure.

Check a transport number

Master AWB: 3-digit airline prefix + 7-digit serial + check digit. Example: 001-12345675. Not for house AWBs.

A container prefix suggests equipment owner/registrant associations only; it does not prove the operating carrier. SCAC carrier codes and container prefix candidates are listed separately. Mappings are not a complete registry.

How to use this logistics directory

  1. Identify your number: master AWBs normally have 11 digits; container numbers have 4 letters and 7 digits.
  2. AWB checks use the 7-digit serial modulo 7. Container checks use ISO 6346 weighted arithmetic. Neither check retrieves shipment status.
  3. Find the transport company and enter your number on its website. Confirm bills of lading, booking references and the operating carrier against transport documents.
